{"id":504,"date":"2009-01-17T22:21:57","date_gmt":"2009-01-18T05:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/?p=504"},"modified":"2010-08-09T20:23:56","modified_gmt":"2010-08-10T03:23:56","slug":"magic-in-pieces-of-type-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/magic-in-pieces-of-type-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Magic in pieces (of type)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/right_spire.png\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-474\" title=\"right_spire\" src=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/right_spire.png\" alt=\"right_spire\" width=\"225\" height=\"294\" \/><\/a> When I set out to create my <a href=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/weblog\/201\">type castle<\/a>, I didn&#8217;t realize how much fun it would be to find interesting ways to approximate some of the<a href=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/right_turrets.png\"> finer bits of detail<\/a> on Sleeping Beauty Castle.  I&#8217;m not going to say I did everything the right way&#8230; and each time I open it up I find little bits to tweak before going to press, but things shaped up real nice &amp; I&#8217;m quite happy with the result.<\/p>\n<p>I thought it might be fun to use a few close up pictures to illustrate some of the detail.  You can click on any of them for a larger view.<\/p>\n<p>The first <em>(Top right of this post)<\/em> is an unique spire on the castle.  One of the interesting points is the pattern the shingles make on the roofline where this spire appears.  There is <a href=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/left_ziggy.png\">another interesting<\/a>, but very different shingle pattern on the opposide side of the castle as well.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/disney-crest.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-472 alignright\" title=\"disney-crest\" src=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/disney-crest.png\" alt=\"disney-crest\" width=\"186\" height=\"113\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/squirrel.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-476 alignright\" title=\"squirrel\" src=\"http:\/\/rustinjessen.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/squirrel.png\" alt=\"squirrel\" width=\"167\" height=\"114\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s also some fun little details that probably won&#8217;t get much attention.
