Who are you?
My name is Rustin Jessen, and as it says in the sidebar of this site, I really am just a guy living out a dream.
I hail from a smallish town in Utah about 25 miles north of Salt Lake City called Kaysville. It was a fantastic place to grow up and I’d like to raise children in a place like it some day. I have a mother & father, three older sisters, four nephews, two nieces, two brothers in law, and a dog who all live within walking distance of each other back home.
What do you do?
I’m a Disney Cast Member. 
I am Disney enthusiast at heart. I’m as passionate about the magic now as I have ever been. I care a great deal about each guest that visits any of our properties, and it’s very important to me that they walk away with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

Why the blog?
A long time ago I was a geek working as a small business IT consultant, it just made sense that I would wire myself up with a domain to display all my little bits-n’-bobs made for the online world. I am still a geek at heart but the form in which it manifests itself has changed quite a bit. I took a large leap back into the entertainment industry that changed my lifestyle quite a bit. I was rarely online and this domain saw only email traffic for many many months.
In July of 2004 I hopped on the blog bandwagon (I was a late bloomer). I ran across a little web app called WordPress that set me free. So great… I had a site, and a nice way to publish to it, but what did I have to say? Everything finally fit together when I needed an option to save money on my phone bills. You see, I was spending many hours on the phone with friends and family telling them of the fun new things I was doing since moving to Southern CA to work for Disney. I post to this blog primarily to keep those I know and love abreast of my exploits.
Along the way, a few strangers have chimed in on a comment form here and there. But overall this is just a spot for people who know me to know more.
Jac, this section is for you
For the purposes of just being groovy, and making sure you know exactly what you are reading… This is a personal blog of someone who doesn’t not in any way consider himself a writer. I can’t spell or punctuate correctly. I will often use the wrong forms of words (to vs. too) while posting about my random life happeneings.
I do these things not because I don’t understand the rules, but becuase I really don’t care about them. I usually type just like I talk, and that doesn’t leave much room for copy-editing.
Please feel free to point any errors out to me in the comments or with an email, I won’t feel bad and I’ll to my best to correct them. I can’t afford to lose readers over a comma or two! 🙂
